How to Contribute

For Registered Contributors

Contributions must be sent to component-contrib@twodesk.com.

For Unregistered Contributors

The TwoDesk Component Library is an open source library. As such, we welcome all contributions of code, documentation, examples, or anything else that you would like to add to the library. We do, however, require that the copyrights of such contributions be assigned back to us. Don't worry, we won't use that copyright to take away your right to use what you wrote, but we do need to ensure that we can legally continue to maintain the library under the dual-license model. The easiest way to do that is to ensure that we are the copyright holder for the entire library.

In order for us to consider your contribution for inclusion in the library, we ask that you agree to the following agreement. Basically, it states three things:

Any contributions that you sent to component-contrib@twodesk.com become our property to use as we see fit.
We assign to you the right to use your submission in agreement with your component library license.
You take responsibility for your contribution, certifying that you have the right to contribute it.

If you wish to contribute, please read the following agreement, enter your e-mail address and click I agree. We will keep your name and e-mail address on file to ensure that your contributions are handled properly.

For the purposes of this document, "you" indicates the reader of this document.  "We," or "TwoDesk Software Company" indicates Jacob Thurman DBA TwoDesk Software Company, his employees, associates, or designees.

This document constitutes an agreement between you, the reader, and TwoDesk Software Company, pertaining to contributions that you may make to the software package known as "TwoDesk Component Library."

You agree to all of the following terms and conditions:

* Any contributions which you send to the e-mail address component-contrib@twodesk.com become the exclusive property of TwoDesk Software Company, with all copyrights and other legal rights and privileges associated with your contribution being assigned exclusively to TwoDesk Software Company.

* You certify that all contributions which you send to the e-mail address component-contrib@twodesk.com are written by yourself or by a third party who has assigned to you the rights and powers to fulfill the terms of this agreement.  If it is later determined that you have violated the law with your contribution, you accept all liability and responsibility for any violation of the law that may result from your contribution.

* You certify that you are the sole user of your e-mail address associated with this agreement, or that all users of that address approve of the terms of this agreement.  You also certify that you will take reasonable measures to ensure that others are not able to use your e-mail address as a vehicle for making contributions that may violate this agreement.

We agree to all of the following terms and conditions:

* As copyright holder of the TwoDesk Component Library and all contributions to it, we assign you a non-exclusive right to use your contribution in accordance with the terms of the license under which you are using TwoDesk Component Library.

* If your contribution is included in the TwoDesk Component Library, we will acknowledge your contribution by including your name in the product documentation and, where applicable, in the source code.
